Sautéed Shrimp, Green Apple and Strawberry Salad


  • 100 grams of prawns (fresh or frozen, as you want / can)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (green and tart)
  • 50 grams of strawberries
  • Pink pepper
  • a few leaves of fresh parsley
  • Half lemon
  • Oil
  • Vinegar
  • Salt


Begin by cutting the apple into slices and placing them in a bowl of water with the juice of half a lemon. This will help prevent the apple slices from darkening and add a delicious lemony flavor that pairs perfectly with this salad.

Next, cut the strawberries into slices and set them aside.

Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and chili, being careful not to burn them, and sauté for a few minutes. Then, add the peeled prawns to the pan and sauté until they turn opaque and lose their raw color. Remove the garlic and chili from the pan and discard them.

To assemble the salad, distribute the apple and strawberry slices on plates. Place the sautéed prawns on top of the fruit and drizzle with a vinaigrette made with three parts oil to one part vinegar.

Finally, sprinkle some fresh parsley and a few dashes of pink pepper over the top of the salad. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious flavors and textures of this refreshing dish.
